My first post should have been here apparently. I am a Chevy man with a mild Pontiac addiction that I managed to overcome. The reason I joined this board is because I love most GM products (old stuff) and an Olsmobile recently came into our lives. My son's Grandpa gave him a 69 Olds 442 "holiday edition". I look forward to interacting with the cool people on this board and dread the inevitable "d****".

Welcome, and post some pics if you can. I saw your other thread on the engine
with the peanut plugs. It may have a 350 Buick in it. Can you post a pic of the engine?
Yeah, it's supposed to be pretty tomorrow, in what should be the dead of winter. So, I'll post pics on that same thread. Peace and thanks for the welcome.
I've been here since 2013 and not that I'm looking but found no d***. Congrats on your good furtune to own an Oldsmobile. You will find all the support and advice you need here. Only catch is we love pictures of Oldsmobiles. You got any?

Welcome, Kraven. Gary M speaks volumes of truth...the denizens of this forum are friendly and readily willing to share their knowledge. Not all of us here have collectible or show cars but we love what we have and that's what counts!
This is a judgement free zone. Sweet that this is a father-son project for you. That's how I landed in the middle of Olds ownership too. Just wish my pop was around now to see the fruits of the labor.
Man....that is so cool. One seldom thinks about leaving the planet and his loved ones, one day. So we live in the now. I miss my old daddy. I never really thought about it before but he is the one who got me started in this hobby (him and necessity). He didn't physically do anything but he let me use his tools, hang out in the shop and help build his stock cars, and was the one I would go to with questions. Yeah, I really miss him and I know you miss yours too. Peace,
Thanks. It's not a shower but I love the lines and after some panels are patched and she's put in primer.... The boy likes it and that's what is important.
