Proud new owner of a '66 Cutlass

When I originally decided that I wanted to buy a classic car, Oldsmobiles weren't really on my radar. I was drawn to Pontiacs and was sure I'd end up with either a GTO or a Firebird. But after a year of looking around, the car I finally fell in love with was a '66 Cutlass convertible with a Rocket 330. It's been through an extensive resto-mod and is a gorgeous deep burgundy red with a white interior. I am, I must say, quite smitten.

Having been an owner for less than a month, I've already been prowling this site and have been amazed at the amount of knowledge and support available from the members. I have a few things to sort out on my car and will begin posting questions today. I am not a car guy and have no experience with troubleshooting or repairs, but would much rather learn how to do it myself rather than turn it over to a mechanic.

So thank you in advance for all of help and advice!

I don't. I know there was extensive chrome work done by the previous owner in Springfield, MO, but I don't have any specifics.

Your dash and front grille look to have been customized? Can you post some pics of both of those areas?
