operation of rear air bags cold weather
Have an '02 bravada which has been a great SUV. Now has 161k and the last 2 or 3 years the winter weather has been having impact on rear air bag inflation.
As long as the weather is about 50 and up....all works well. Otherwise, unit will not run long enough to pump-up rear body.
Comments/suggestions??
PS. The mod kit has been installed as offered by the GM folks in the pump.
Thanks, Bill W

Sounds like your level sensor maybe getting wacky or bad connection causing it to ground out early!.
Check out this link on location and operation of the automatic level system, not exactly your problem as far this person had but it does control too high and too low.

I also noticed that your new, not being critical here but, you should introduce yourself and we always like photos of your rig.
Welcome to Classic Olds! I used to have an 02 Bravada Jewel coat red with sunroof, memory seats, mirrors and polished wheels.

I had a 02 Envoy that didn't have the air bag system but I found www.trailvoy.com to be a good resource for that GM platform. I'm assuming that's what you have although 02 was the transition year & I think they still made Blazers in the old body style and called them Trailblazers so I'm not sure what one you have.
Here's a page off the website when I searched "air" and "bravada"
