Rebuilding in cold weather

I just removed the cam bearings from my '72 rocket 350 and was wondering if there are any issues with installing FM babbitt type bearings in the cold weather (-10c/14f)? I'm also installing a new cam, crank and bearings etc...

I see no reason why temp would be a problem. They are are press type fit so get em in straight.

Wow I'm just thinking about working on an engine in weather that cold. Ouch! You must be used to it/doing it out of necessity. Kudos to you!

Motors on a stand in the garage, don't think it would go over well moving to the kitchen. My concern was press fitting bearings in the cold and issues with metal contraction.
