This is all new to me, so please be patient. Have built and sold chevelles over the years, this 4-4-2 is all original # matching 4 speed car, I'm the 2nd owner. It was wrapped in blue tarps underneath a overhead back deck for 39 years. It was t-boned at the original owner's house in 1978, then stored. I purchased it in 2017 and for 2 years have worked to bring it back to life, happy to say it runs great and looks like 68 4-4-2 again. From my research it seems the 68 is harder to find than the 69-72? So much to tell in this story, looking for any suggestions on this car, it has turned into a love that is different than any Chevelle I have ever done. Thanks for your time.
Welcome to the site.
A T boned car that was stored for 39 years sounds almost like a 'Why?" but I'm glad to hear you bought it and restored it. Under a tarp sounds like the perfect nesting place for varmints too BTW. How bad was the damage? Bent frame? Curious to see if you have before and after pictures. 68 was the first year of the new body style, and the first year that 442 was it's own model. So your VIN should start with a 344. I'm sure everyone here is as curious to see what it looks like now. Fortunately there are some reproduction parts made for the 68 models but many of the really elusive parts continue to elude the market.

Thanks for the interest, had my grandson come over to help get pics on this site, he was unable to help me. Can you help me? Like I said all new to me, we downloaded pics from phone to my email, that's it. Thanks again.
