Olds 442 in Texas New Guy
I have owned a lot of cars since I was 16 my first being a 1970 SS Big Block Chevelle. I was surfing craigslist one day and ran across a 67 442 drag car, I was hooked. My daughter and myself went to go look at the car which ended up being 3 miles from where we live. The car was converted to a drag car in the 70's and was not cut up at all. It had spent the last 20 years or so in a barn and was pulled out last year. There is no rust to speak of but it had been hit with something in the pass. door. There is no interior besides a race seat and a old roll cage. My plans for the car are to get the body work completed and have it painted the original Gold. The car
had an Olds 455 and a turbo 400 but those are long gone. I will eventually
put a 455 back in it when money allows me to. The interior I have the front buckets and the back seat I will get these reupholstered and put back in and over time collect the rest of the interior parts. My plan is to have the car running driving and painted within a few months

Cool project and a post car too. In case you did not know the post car interior pattern is different than the non post supreme/442. Also the standard engine in the 67 442 would be a 400. These are hard to find and a 455 would be easier to come up with Good Luck with the project.
