Here's the story I bought the body of a 442 from CT. Soso shape. It came with bill of sell. (no title) Has anyone delt with getting a title in IL? If so what is needed.

I have a 2nd 442 title (good) but the body I want to use was Ele locks/windows.

I can swap tags... but well it gets very close being wrong.

Also there was a listing as to location and whos who as owners by vin? anyone got the link?

 

You will have to get the state police involved unfortunately, and have them do a background check on the vehicle before going any further.

I picked up a 1990 chevy truck in CT about 2 years ago, and can tell you that they DO have titles over there same as we do.
