Oil pressure problems
ok so i checked oil galley plugs and they are there, made sure I was rotating counter clockwise and got a faster drill and sitll have the same problem. Is it bad to run a high volume oil pump in a stock pan? could that be it, should i upgrade my oil system. Keep in mind the engine is mostly a stock rebuild.
Is it a mech or electric gauge? If electric does it have power and proper ground? Like said above try a different gauge. I have one that mounted to a long nipple that I thread into the oil pressure hole by the water pump just for priming.

i am gonna take everything apart and check again. i put a new guage on. By any chance will the oil filter housing have a spring? if so does that make a difference. i am going to check the oil pump also to see if it is bad or if the pick up is letting air in the system.
