Hi all,
After 18 years of Mopar I’ve just purchased my first Old’s, a 1950 Rocket 88 convertible.
It’s rather lovely and is a dream car for me. I don’t have a shop manual yet so will be asking lots of questions on the forum.

That is an outstanding car. I sold a 50 Super 88 convertible several years ago that was in an estate I was executor of. It was red and put a new tan top on it. It had full wheel covers and fender skirts on it. You do need good arms to steer one of these. Welcome and congrats on your purchase.

Hello to everyone and apologies for my apparent silence especially to Oldcutlass who was good enough to send me wiring diagrams. 4 days after picking up the car I got admitted to hospital with Gall Bladder issues. Drugged up, Nil by Mouth and in pain I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. On top of that I had the Olds booked in for its first show at Pistons & Props at Sywell airfield on Saturday and today. That was a waste of money . Never mind, had my MRI scan this morning and hope to get out tomorrow or Tuesday so I can go for a drive at the weekend and start looking at these light issues.
Best wishes to all.
Best wishes to all.
