Newbie from Ontario 1950 Oldsmobile
Hi, glad to find other Oldsmobile enthusiasts. I'll post a picture when I figure it out. I just bought (2 weeks ago) a 1950 Oldsmobile Fastback. Never owned a classic car before and not sure why I do now
Looking forward to reading some back posts to familiarize myself with the group.

Sad story. Had a 50 Olds 4dr. a few years back. Wasn't bad at all. Traded a guy for my 61 Chry. Windsor. HUGE wings, 383, new interior and 0 rust but painted white with a brush. Had to have it. Then the IDIOT cut the Olds in HALF, tried to mount the front half onto an s-10 frame with a crappy wooden bed, tossed the back half, then gave up on the whole project and junked the whole thing. WTF????? I did go on to sand the 61 "Batmobile" down to bare metal and have it painted a light blue to match the gorgeous dark blue interior. Still have it. I NEVER would have traded if I knew what he was gonna do. On a lighter note, I've been checking out everyone's rides. You guys have some wicked pissa cahs. A-yuh. I'll keep an eye out for all Olds stuff for everyone, parts and all. Love the fastbacks, Ric.
