Newbie Intro Post

Hi;

I've been a visiting the site for a while, but haven't actively participated. Will do so now that my 72 Cutlass S is out of storage. Got it running and started work on the the brake system (drums all around). I'm sure I will have some questions.

Been in storage about 12 of the last fourteen years. I was overseas for a while and was able to get back every 3 - 4 months. This way I kept in running and clean.

Picture of my 72 Cutlass S

This is my first attempt at uploading a picture to this sight.

This was a true "little old lady" find in Southern California. She was in her late 70s with failing eyesight. Her children insisted she sell it. I bought it with 21,000 original miles, now has 43,000. So far, replaced the water pump and front brakes.

Found the wheels at the local U-pick and had them painted to match. Added the chrome trim rings from my totaled (broke my heart) 66 Elcamino in the garage.

Nice looking car. By the way, my curiosity abounds, what's under the car cover? Welcome to our site.

Nothing exotic under the cover, just a 73 VW Superbeetle. Sold it a while back.
