choke heat tube

choke heat tube

I have a 1974 delta 88 convertable with a 455 i'm trying to figure out how the heat tubes are routed on the quadrajet carb. If any one has a pic it would be great? thanx Jeff

I hope this is what you are asking for. I just so happen to be replacing the choke heat stove.

heat tube

Where does the long tube go on back of carb????

Here's a picture of a DualJet - QuadreJet hooks up the same way.

See the long tube going to the port on the back of the carb. to pull in air from inside the air cleaner?

choke heat tubes

Thanx for the help with the choke heat tubes. Put remanufactured carb on with new tubes and it works great. How do i do a new post on another subject?
