Newbie from Frankfurt/Germany

Hi everybody,
I am excited to participate here, while restoring and getting to know my
1966 Delta88 better and better.

The car came from California about two month ago and she is a typical west coast import. No rust, unaltered nearly perfect interior but a thousand dents and wrong bolts on the outside.
The head gaskets were toast and all channels were congested and every seal was leaking.
Last not least an incredibly bad but charming paint-job..:-)

But I can help myself with all these issues and for all the information and knowledge part I am happy to be here now....

Best to all,
André

Wow, that's not too far from Frankfurt.
I was wondering how many Deltas, especially
pre-70ies, are in Germany. Can't be many, full
size sedans are of little demand by dealers.

There are AF in Mühlheim, right?

Hi, welcome

I'm also from Germany near Stuttgart
your Delta looks pretty cool!

I asked the Kraftfahrtbundesamt how many Oldsmobiles were registered in Germany (but its from all years and all models) and they told me:

Personenkraftwagen: 152
Krafträder: 1
Lastkraftwagen: 1
Zugmaschinen: 29
