Newbie Custom Cruiser Fan

Hi everyone! Happy to be here. I joined the forums a couple months back for some help, and I wanted to wait until I had my car running before finally posting here. This is my '82 Custom Cruiser that served as my first car back in high school. After putting about 100k miles on it through harsh midwestern weather, I had it in storage for the last 10 years, and just recently have had the time and garage space to get it moving again. So happy to have it back on the road, even if still needs a lot of love.

Welcome aboard officially.

Nice rake on your Custom Cruiser, great cars. My dad had a late 80s version.

Welcome! I love the Custom Cruisers!

The first car my wife and I bought after getting married was a 1990 Buick Estate Wagon. Maybe I would have kept it if it were an Olds.

Thtat's a neat looking car. Wagons are starting to get their due respect lately.

I spent many a road trip in the back seat arguing with my 5 siblings in one of these.

Cool ride for sure! i agree on the stance setup as well!

Why is the hood not all the way down?

I was in the middle of checking some things and just forgot to close it all the way for the photo, haha. Thankfully the hood is latch isn’t on the long list of fixes it still needs.

I have had several CC's in the past... Good luck getting it back to the way it was... I still have quite a bit of NOS trim pieces and dash pieces in my parts inventory... Especially headlight and tail light bezels, grills, roof racks, window sweeps, etc..
