NEWB From Austin, Tx!

Hello!

I'm a NEWB from Austin, Tx and I just purchased the 1965 F85 from forum member F85 on here.

I will tell ya a little about me.

I like cars, I don't care what brand, I don't care if you need a tetanus shot just to sit in it. If it runs…I'll drive it.

I also own a 1964 F85 I snagged out of Memphis, TN that I thought I would like, but…..changed my mind. It was toooo red.

It's a sweet car, but it's not something I want to completely re do.

I also have a 68 Camaro stock car,Fox body, Z06, F100, C10, 70 EL Camino 396 and other cars that are more suited to kid hauling and daily driving…Xterra, Truck etc.

Anyway, I bought F85's car with plans to drive it everywhere, just like I do every other car I own. I just recently took the 70 El Camino on a 1,500 road trip and it did very well, except the gas mileage was not a laughing matter. lol

That's about it…I'll be asking tons of questions on here and I'm sure there will be a project thread, since I plan on making this a street fighter/cruiser type build.

Welcome to CO Jason! Sounds like quite a collection of cars you have. Post some pics of your new Olds when you get a chance.

lol, the pics are in the forsale forum under 1965 F85 for sale.

I don't have the car yet, it will be a bit still since F85 is going to be doing a few modifications before I receive the car and make my own round of modifications.

Welcome aboard. For those who want to save looking, here's the link to the car 65 F85 . So what upgrades are being done before it's shipped your way?

From what all the other folks I know in TX say though, you're gonna roast in that baby since it's not AC equipped
