New owner of a 72 cutlass

Proud new owner of a 72 cutlass supreme. First classic car, second oldsmobile. Needs some love but nothing I can't give the old girl.

Looks good! Color is really nice. I bet you never lock the drivers door right now.
Is the hood from Glasstek? I'm glad to see the PO didn't put stripes on the deck lid. Probably all the stainless (wheel opening/rocker) is still hiding somewhere?

mainly just interior work, still need a head liner installed and carpet. Have a carpet kit but waiting till I get a radio and speakers installed before I lay it down. And missing some trim peices for exterior of the car. I'm from the rust belt state of Ohio.

this site has been extremely helpful so far, and has given me a few ideas already with my car. Maybe even get to meet each other one day Wayne, you go to any local car shows?

I'm in the Akron-canton area, I'd be interested in a few of those meets actually. Idk if the car would be completely done or not but would be decent/furthest cruise yet

These cars are real headturners. In Ct Mustangs, Chevelles and Vettes are a dime a dozen. So many folks ask what kind of car is that?
No matter what, that is a real nice car, be happy with it and drive it!!!

I have a backup light project also. Will get started after the distaff. I have all the parts I need already. First big part is to lower the bumper so I can put in the new rear harness and then forward. Hopefully see you Sunday Look for this Cutlass.

Not to worry. It's fun getting to know more Oldsmobile people anyhow. Decent place for lunch. Latest weather shows 60 and sunny. See you then.
Thanks
