Very cool getting all that documentation with it, but man do you have your work cut out for you! It will be great watching you breathe new life into the old girl.
well my cousin bought it from the original owner around 25 years ago and i bought it from him.
it needs all new sheetmetal just like any other of its era,
trunk pan, drop offs, quarters, fender, bumpers, and some patches in the floor pans or full floor pans. I havent pulled the carpet up enough to know yet.
The motor/trans and almost all of the bolt ons are original besides cap/rotor and some small tune up parts like that.
Between this and the paperwork i want to restore it.
It is a 350 car but i also have a 455 that i would prefer to put in it with a 442 hood above it. I just cant decide which route im going to go.
Welcome to the group... Everyone needs to start somewhere... At least it appears to be complete so it's definitely a good starting point... It's also great that all that documentation came with it... Good luck with the project...
Welcome. You do have some work to do. Hopefully that is not any rust under what is left of that vinyl top. I noticed it has Cutlass Supreme grills in it which means they have been replaced at some point. This is one of those cars you can build just like you want it. There are lots of folks here that are glad to help.
I'd suggest retaining the original 350 engine, especially since you have the original paperwork and VIN showing the factory engine, as well as if you plan to keep the A/C. The factory 350 is a 'bullet proof' engine with good performance potential with only a few external changes.
