New to Olds Forum

I'm new to this forum. I restored a 1982 GMC Caballero so am involved in the El Camino Central forum. Recently my son acquired a 1967 Olds Cutlass Supreme and we are working on it together, so here I am on this forum. And then I could not pass up a real deal on a 1956 Chevy 3100 pickup, so I joined the Tri Five forum. There's a lot of good information to glean from and contribute to all three forums.

I am retired from the printing/publishing business. I was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas, but have lived in South Texas, Houston, Northeast Texas and Central Texas. During this period I have worked on restoring several vehicles. I found I couldn't make any money on them, but sure enjoyed the restoration process. At age 77, I am having a bit of trouble getting up and down, but am still managing. I just hope to see the Cutlass and the Chevy pickup finished before hanging up my spurs, lol.

Too ugly to post right now. But, I sure will once we've made some progress, lol. I'm afraid this one could turn into a real money-pit if my son isn't careful.

I assure you they are never too ugly, we all have to start a project somewhere. Pics of the 56 are also welcome.

If everyone waited until his car wasn't "too ugly" anymore, no one would ever post a photo.
