New Member, [and I brought pics of my olds]

Hey guys, I'm Andrew. Just bought my first car a couple months back. This is it - an 88' Olds Cutlass Ciera. Not exactly what I thought I'd be driving, but It's grown on me, and I drive it with my head high. Bought for $2400 with only 2900 miles on it. What a steal! Absolutely love it!

Welcome Andrew. I think you'll fit in here just fine.

There's nothing wrong with a Cutlass Ciera. I worked at a Chevy place when these cars were new and the Celebrity was a really nice car. I know the Olds was a little nicer. With 2900 miles it's still new!

Good luck with the car and enjoy it.

Welcome, As stated above - there's nothing wrong with a Cutlass Ciera.... In my collection of Olds, I also have a 1996 Ciera SL with only 5500 miles... Purchased with only 234 mile on it as a salvage vehicle, rebuilt it and didn't have the heart to sell it once it was completed....

Welcome, nice looking Olds. I also have an 88 Celebrity but it is not as nice as yours. 3.3 v6 I assume?

That's an awesome car. I am looking for something similar to drive around myself.

They were the Oldsmobile of GM's small cars, and they were a lot better cars than people gave them credit for. I still see plenty of late-80s Cieras around in decent driver shape or better.

You wanna give it some personality? Ditch the wire caps and find a set of the optional aluminum wheels.

Well done! I don't know what's available on CO in terms of tech support for those, but with 2900 miles you probably won't need any for awhile! Welcome!

Thought I would share my 96 Ciera survivor.... Rebuilt after a Total Loss at 234 miles.... presently a little under 5500 miles...
