Hi I'm tk, and I have a 73 pontiac grandville convertible that needs work. It currently starts but has been sitting for a couple years and has rust in the trunk area.

Wrong forum LOL and I have a '73 GrandVille Convertible too. rotting away in a field in AL. Hoping to get it up here this year if some scumbag hadn't hauled it off to the scrapyard for Meth-money.

Never a big deal TK....you can learn a lot from these forums...heck lots of Buicks, Olds, & Pontiacs were built by the same folks in the same assembly plants anyway! There are some real knowledgable guys here & you'd probably get better advice on this forum if you have convertible top issues anyway...the mechanism is identical to the '73 Delta 88.

So many parts interchange on the B & C-bodies & I like this forum way better than V8BUICK or the PY forum (Pontiac). I hang out here most of the time despite the fact that I'm not currently doing anything with my two Oldsmobiles

Unless the mods move/kill this thread, I'd love to see pics of your car. Join the PY forums if you hadn't already & post in the "Big Car" Thread. It would be nice to see some '71 to '76 activity over there for a change.

Here's my "other" '73 convertible:
