Houston Texas members meet

Hey guys! Danny (70wcars) and I are planning to hit Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown on Friday, September 14, 2012. If you are in the Houston area we would love for you to come down and visit or even run your car down the 1/4 mile dragstrip.

If you live outside of the area but want to come please do! We would love to see more guys come out! I know Danny will have one of his 2 racecars there and I will have my silver street car there. My father, Joe Brown (Joe Brown) may bring our '72 convertible as well just to play with it. We look forward to seeing you out there, but don't worry if you miss it, I'll be posting video of the runs and pictures of the evening like we usually do

Our events are posted there with additional information not found in the forums. Take care!

Steve, I would love to come se y'all run. I'll have to check my calendar but I think I can make it. What time do y'all usually get there and how can I find ya.
My '65 442 is in the beginning stages of its restoration so I don't have it to bring but I could really use some tips and ideas on beefing up my 455. Not drag strip beefy :0) but something a bit more than stock.

Regards,
Todd

Hey Todd! Nice to meet you! We will get there around 6pm...I think the gates open at 6:30pm. You will find us, look for the silver car in my signature and a red 442 W-30. I believe Sickyolds will be there as well...he and 70wcars are from San Antonio.

Also, if your car is driveable feel free to bring it out...we don't mind if it's in progress or not...mine sure is. I need to do my interior doh!

I will also send you an invite to the Texas Olds group...

Check your private messages...you have an invite! And welcome to Classic Olds! You should introduce yourself in the "Newbie" section and give the guys a reason to hound you for pictures

Which means you'll get there in time to watch 4 more hours of racing! Cheese and rice, you'll only miss an hour and a half of us setting up, tech, and maybe the first pass. Or can you take the day off?

Well, even if you can't take leave then come out when you get off. I'll give you a room for the night and you can go home Saturday or even stay until Sunday

Hey Tom, if you drive your H/O out there to houston I may join you. I dont think I would be willing to drive out there alone. Im not too sure how reliable my olds may be on a 500 mile trip. This definitely sounds like fun though.

Exclamation Niftee fifties - 27 october 2012

Hey Houston guys! A couple of us are planning to meet up at the Halloween Niftee Fifties car show in Spring on Saturday, October 27. We will try to coordinate before the show so that we can caravan into the parking area and get spaces next to each other. If you are interested, please post here and I will try to contact you individually to organize our meet.

Bring the kids for trick or treating in the car show. If you haven't been before, the Halloween drive in is the biggest of the year with 700 + cars attending. It is $10 to park in the show ($5 for current Niftee Fifties members).

Address:

Stables Town Center - Kroger
8745 Spring Cypress Rd.
Spring, TX 77379
