New here not to Oldsmobiles

Heya,

I am glad to have found this place for fellow Oldsmobile gear heads .

I had a 68 Cutlass S for 12 years then got forced to sell it. I am a few weeks from getting another 68 and will be doing a full spread of before pictures with works in progress.

I will be doing the bench to bucket and center console swap out as well.

Well short and sweet hello

Moose

The car is a 68 cutlass s post. Bench seat and auto on the tree. 12 bolt one wheel wonder.

Motor in it at this time is a 65. 425 I didn't check the carb so not sure if its 2 or 4 barrel the owner has a 68 350 motor to go with the car as well.

Can any one decipher this for me it's the body tag info. Top to bottom and left to right:

04D

ST 68-33677 LAN361194 BODY
TR 950 K-2 PAINT

I will try and find the build sheet once I get the car. I know it's generally between frame and gas tank.

Built 4th week of April 68
Lansing Plant
Black bench seat
Ocean Turquoise with a Black vinyl top

You won't find a build sheet under the tank or anywhere in the car. You may find a Fisher Body card under the back seat

I found the build sheet on my other 68 between the tank and trunk, sadly this one doesn't have the back seat.

Thank you for the information, could you also do the VIN if I provide you it?

I checked the door jams for information on tire size and such and the one on the drivers side is almost completely faded out to where you can't see a thing :/

The VIN won't really tell you anything more. The car won't have a build sheet because its a Lansing car. The other BOP plants were more likely to leave paperwork in the car. Lansing built cars did not.
