Hello Olds community
Just joined your group a few days ago and have finally got a few minutes to post a greeting and indroduce myself. I have always been a Olds fan and have owned quite a few olds in my driving years. I have owned a 72 Cutlass, 76 Cutlass Supreme, 78 Cutlass Supreme, 86 Toronado and now I have just purchased a 83 Toronado. Unfortunatly I only have the 83 Toro left. I have fond memories of this car, my dad used to own one when I was 16 and would occaisnly get to drive it and I just loved the car.
The car I just purchased is is real nice shape and and only requires a few minor repairs. I have searched out sites in hopes of learning from some of you folks on this site for direction and assistance. A few months after purchasing the car I realized the heater core was leaking, I talked a buddy into helping me repair this. Quite the repair took us 11 hours to remove the dash and all its comonents to remove and replace the heater core. Fun Fun!!! Thanks For allowing me to join and hope we can all learn a little about the cars we love.
On a personal note I live in a small community north of Edmonton, Alberta.
