Don't mean to offend anyone, but for those of you who believe in prayer please pray for this community. You can see on google earth that there's a large saw mill in the middle of town. It may have been that mill that provided jobs for the town to grow up around it. Today a fire started near the log decks and low humidity, high temps and strong winds carried it through the mill and the town. On the evening news they said 100 homes/structures had burned, and maybe 1,000 more were at risk. The retardant bombers were flying steady all afternoon doing what they could. So please keep the community in your thoughts and prayers.

It looks like Emergency Services and the community are doing all that they can to help those displaced by the fire. I had not been aware of it until just now. It looks terrible.

The local TV news in my area had only the Weed fire on last night this is going to be devastating to that town not only has a large portion of town gone up in smoke but the major source of income (the mill) is badly damaged and who knows if they will reopen it.....Tedd

It's no offense to care about people enough to ask for blessings and safety. I pray for those people with the knowledge the bleekness will pass as long as hope is maintained.
