New guy from Texas

Hello everyone. I just found this site after a quick search looking for info on my new ride. I just bought a 69 Olds 442 and definitely want to learn as much as I can about it.

Nice car! And welcome to Classic Oldsmobile, which was a good choice too.

There are experts here in every aspect of your car and they willingly share their knowledge.

Very nice car. I don't know what part of Texas you are in but if you are in the DFW area I welcome you to join us this Sunday for our monthly meeting of the North Texas Oldsmobile Club (NTOC) at Sunny Bryan's BBQ at 2:00.

Thanks for the invite. I'm near Beaumont and I guess I need to update my profile to reflect that. Dont think I'll be able to make the drive tho. Any idea if there's a chapter closer to me?

There is an active Houston Olds club that you can look into. Welcome to the site.

Welcome to this site. It's the best Olds site on the planet, in my opinion! Lots of '69 people here, too. Enjoy your new purchase!

Nice looking car. Good luck with it.

I see you are in the Beaumont area. My Poor 'ol Pappy was born in Orange, TX. Worked the Tuna boats and oil rigs as a young man. Then migrated to North Texas.
