New guy from California here

Hey all! My name is Mike and I live in Bakersfield,Ca. I was just offered the 68 delta custom that my grandparents used to own. My uncle gave it to a neighbor that did some work for him about 4 years ago minor dents in it from being moved, and the vinyl top is roasted. I have lots of questions so I hope you guys have alot of answers lol.

Thanks guys. No pictures yet as I have no place to put the car except for back in the shed it was in for the last 15 or so years before it was given away. Only thing is now the place leaks and after siitting out for the last few years the hood is kinda rusted. I'm going to give my neighbor my 65 baja in lue of some access to his shop as far as running some electricity so i can get to work on the car. It runs and I was told it has a knock, but I was planning on asking the guy if he can pull the engine and tranny for me so i can tear it down and make sure that all the seals and stuff are ok. I plan on getting alot of pictures once I get it. And because I was typing too fast I put 69 delta instead of 68. So I had to adjust my signature just to clear up any confusion

This will be a question you will be answering forever "Why is he called 69Delta 455Rocket when he has a '68?". Welcome to CO. Good luck on the project.
