Don't get too, too excited, haha. In this case of "classic Olds", I own one of the 1364 1991 Calais 442's with the vaunted Quad4 H.O.

I'm an Olds nut, through-and-through, however, and glad to be onboard here. Making a member's ride thread shortly.

Welcome aboard!
Excited? Nope. Not a classic yet. Needs to be at least 25 years old. By my calculations you're still 4 years shy.....
Still, I can appreciate the car. I had a similar styled Cutlass Calais in 85. Factory order with 5 speed and shyteload of options. Good little car with the 'tech 4' but I only kept it for a year before going back to a Ninety Eight.

The shifter arm assembly is the same, though the **** was likely different. The pattern is indeed nice and tight, almost notchy. It's as satisfying as working the bolt-action on a good rifle. Thanks for the welcome, Allan!
