New Guy

Just wanted to get my name out here. I just joined the group this afternoon. I have a 74' Delta 88 4 door non-hardtop and a 75' Delta 88 Convertible which I am piecing back together. If anyone knows anyone that works on tops, let me know...

Thanks

I am sure there are a few guys that have done some stuff on the convertibles but if you added where you are located maybe they know someone in your area

Welcome to CO,

As the wolfman states post your location. The help you need might be closer than you think

Great point

Wolfman,

Good call. South Lyon, Michigan. Right outside the Detroit area.

BTW, I had the pleasure of spending the summer of 1980 in Halifax because my dad was a visiting professor at U of H. Beautiful area, absolutely gorgeous...

Thanks

Welcome to the site! I suspect there are more members from the mid-west than any other part of the country so hopefully someone is close enough to help with your convertible top. John

rak, glad to have you with us. We have a few members with ragtops that have worked on them so there is some experience here. Good luck.

Welcome. If you are going to do repairs to your convertible top then make sure you have a Factory Service Manual, and Fisher Body manual for your car. This will be essential.

U. of H. It would either be Dalhousie U. or Saint Mary's U. what did he teach this could give me an idea.

I need to know if there were separate wire wheel covers for the 1975 Cutlass and Delta 88, or are they one in the same?

I am guessing that they weren't the same. Someone else might know for sure.
