New to the group

Hello,

New to this group as well as a new owner of a 69 Cutlass Supreme HT. Here's some picks of my new project. I'll be looking forward to picking your brains for tips and tricks.

Welcome to the group 😀. Looks like you've got a good place to start on your project...looks to be in good shape. By any chance, is that a green vinyl top?

Thanks. Its not vinyl actually. The previous owner painted it with black bed liner. Kinda weird but looks ok. I have the new vinyl that was suppose to go on but he decided to paint it instead. It has all new fenders, rockers, quarters and trunk pan. New paint. Original 350 w/ Edelbrock set-up. Mostly done but have almost all of the interior to fix up. Put a new windshield in on Monday. Carpets pulled and cleaning now, then gonna dye It black as well as doing all black interior. Thinking I'll do the seats white though.

Fooled me, looks good in pics. Appears textured with a muted sheen very much like the vinyl.

Welcome aboard, I'm a huge fan of the 69s obviously.

Nice and welcome to the group.

When I was a kid, my friends moved to Mansfield. I was never there though. Sadly one of them died at 17 up there

It's beautiful here. This area has great cruising roads. Especially if you ride motorcycle.

What is your friends name? It's a small college town, so it's easy to know a lot of the population.
