New to forums, not to Oldsmobile.
I'm Bill from the Chicago area. I have owned over dozen Oldsmobiles and I currently have two in my small collection of muscle cars. I was the service manager for Castle Olds in Morton Grove, Illinois and Ray Olds Leasing in Park Ridge, Illinois from 1977 to 1982. I am 55 and this is the 1st forum of any kind I have joined.

Welcome aboard!
What? Only 12 Olds in all that time?? Just bustin on ya. As others have said, lets see those 2 in your stable.
Sooo, did you keep any of the sales counters copies of the paper Parts Manuals from over the years?? Those things are like paper gold right now.

Pic's requests.
My 1st Olds was my senior year of high school (1976), a '71 442 convertible which I restored. My current two are my '67 442 with power bench, column shift and 34,000 original miles and the other is my '75 Cutlass Salon with a 455, gauge package, 3.08 rear end, 400 trans and no A/C. This car is most likely the lowest mile and most original example in existence. It has 4130 original miles with all the documents. Only the tires and true one piece custom dual flow masters (no cats) exhaust are not original. It has had one owner for 39 years.

Love your 67 and wow, 4130 miles, that is almost unbelievable. Where did you find that? My high school car was a 67 in 76, my aunt drove it and she ran into anything that didn't get out of her way. It was hit more times than Joe Louis.

It is almost unbelievable!
I bought it from the original owner in Youngstown, Ohio. He kept a log when he drove it. Even the wiper blades are original. Here are a few more pictures of her.

Welcome aboard. This is evolving into one of the better forums for Oldsmobilites. You'll get a lot of good info from some very knowledgeable individuals. I have a feeling your going to be one of those who knows a lot and has a lot to share too. Some of us own businesses the deal in specific aspects of our Oldsmobiles.
Read everything twice. Its easy to misread someone's posts and take wrong meaning or maybe even get offended. While there are a few that are just poo stirrers most are genuinely trying to help.

Yes, I was a cop for 32 years. I also owned a Classic Car Dealer, custom Harley-Davidson Dealership as well as man-cave collector car warehouse which has about 40 cars from various owners. No Oldsmobiles in the warehouse, but a lot of Buick GS's! The FIVE-O is from my current venture, FIVE-O Driving School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. www.fiveodrivingschool.com

more guys from the Chicago area. I never run into any of them on the road lol. That's cool you worked for ray olds. I believe I work for the family who owned it who now owns the lexus dealership I work for. That 75 is sweet. I drive right through your area on my way to work. Welcome aboard.

I have not met Ray but his son Allan and grandson Ben I spent sometime with since we are the first crew for their body shop so they stopped in all the time since we are offsite from the dealership. I would love to buy your 75 if I had the money lol. Good luck with the sale. Its one hell of a time capsule .
