Nice to be here guys, already found these forums very useful, and am impressed with the wealth of combined knowledge! Always been a BOP fan, even though have leaned more towards Pontiacs. Passed up a '69 H/O in high school, still regret that! But, now, I'll at least be able to fill a need building a W-30 clone!

I'm a pro-touring kind of guy, have been even before it had a name, and my builds have always leaned in that direction. can check out some of the current stuff I have in my albums, give you an idea. Can also check out some of my tech comments, etc on PY forums, hopefully some can appreciate my background.

I'll post pics etc of the build and it's progress, sure some will be interested, and could always use some ideas and suggestions!

Great to be here!

-Mike

Welcome to the site Mike. I have seen you around on PY. Not too many of us PT guys here but I have at least convinced a few that 18" wheels don't mean ghetto / donk. LOL

I am also a big BOP fan and all around car nut. I love your 71 TA

Thanks guys, I feel the need for speed around here! I LIKE it! Heh-heh!

Promise to start a build thread, gimme a weekend or two. That way I can have a string of progress pics, won't leave anyone hanging! I should be done with the suspension in 2 weeks, and Andy (OPP) will have my machine work done first week in Jan., give you an idea of the time frame. I have a slot in the body shop promised last week of Feb, so have to have it running by then.

Here's a pic of what I started with, a 72 Cutlass S, 350 2bbl, TH350, A/C, column, bench, blue interior, optional interior lighting package, very straight, and very little rust. Odometer appeared to be correct, showing I think like 26k, my guess, 226k. I stole this for $3800 and drove it back from PA like over 200 miles, no issues. Great basis for a driver build.

More to come!
