Welcome to the group from one 66 owner to another... Any particular reason why a 67 front clip was added in place of the 66???

Welcome to the site. Best of both worlds, a 67 front facia and hood, married to 66 front fenders and body.

That's interesting. I have a '68 and a '69 and I always thought the '68 looked better from the doors forward, whereas the '69 looked better from the back. I like the headlights with the turn signal/parking lamp light between the headlights on each side. Pretty car and close by, too!

Thank you all for the welcome. I'm no mechanic by any means and am learning about it as I go. I wish I would of known that the front end was from a different year as I probably paid too much for it 😂 but you live and learn. On the plus side I have verified the 400 big block is original with aftermarket intake manifold and headers. I have yet to dive Into the transmission. I kinda just wanted a car to drive that I didnt have to put a whole lot of work into. I look forward to this forum the last one I joined was kind of dead lol.

Here's some of what's under my hood. 400 #390925E Big Block. I was having issues with the choke flap sticking so I just finished hitting it with cleaner. Seems to be working better already.
