Welcome to the site! I don't know much about these cars but there are several folks on the site who also have them. If someone doesn't speak up soon with help on the gas tank create a thread under the forum for Olds 88's.

Are you missing a tank completely or just need to replaced the one on the car? Is it possible to have the tank repaired?

Most likely you'll need one from another '71 Delta 88 or 98. Possibly tanks from other full-size Olds's of that era ('71-'76) would fit. That I don't know.

I do know that you won't find anything new for these cars. (I had a '75 Delta 88 convertible myself back in the 1990s.) They're not made for the full-size cars, as you noted, only the Cutlasses. If yours can't be fixed (what's wrong with it, by the way?), you'll need to find one from a donor car.

Welcome

Welcome aboard

Here you can get a tank repaired at a radiator shop.

I Q for you. How come the thread is title "new from Miami" but it says your location is Atlanta in you avatar?

I bet the answer is that, while he's in Atlanta, the CAR he just got is from Miami.

No help on the tank issue, but I will welcome you and your Delta to CO! Good luck on the repair/replacement.
