New to classic olds

Finally bought 72 Cutlass Supreme. I’ve owned a 76 & 77 Cutlass but always wanted a 72. The car was advertised as original 89,000 miles car. Pics showed the engine blue, verified here that gold was factory. I went to check car out, owner knew nothing about motor after telling him it was diff motor, rebuilt or painted after replacing head gasket. Everything was advertised as working. Turned on Blower motor nothing, turned on heater, core leaked like a sieve. Paint not so good. Go for a drive motor sting sounded great, auto tranny unbelievably smooth shifts. Get underneath no rust, straight, newer exhaust. No rust in trunk, wheel wells. No way the carpet or seats are 47 years old in excellent condition. We negotiated price.
gonna try to load pics.

Thanks for the welcome. Plenty of work to be done on the 72. I'll do a thread.
