New 1955 88 owner

Just bought a great 1955 88 4 door sedan. Car has been in the same family all its life. Grandpa bought it new when he worked at the assembly plant in Georgia. He had it for 35 years when he died the son got it. He replaced the engine with a believed to be 1975 455 and transmission. Then he died a few years ago and the family needed the money for medical bills so I am the first non family member to own it.
I am waiting for my buddy to bring it here on a flat bed, the tires looked a little dry for a 80 mile trip. Runs and drives great for a manual brakes and steering 2 ton classic. It was repainted the original 2 tone green about 12 years ago and there is only a little pitting near the chrome trim.

Will follow up with pictures when I get it, also will be leaning on you guys for advice as I get it in shape.......
