This is my Second introduction

Hey all, Frankie Lap here again. I am officially part of the family now. I figured I would reintroduce myself as a 442 owner. The car says W30, but that is still to be determined, and I highly doubtful it. I will eventually get in touch with Steve M. The motor is numbers matching, the tranny is not. The carb is not but I'm buying the original from the owner. Couldn't tell about the rear end, it seemed to have been painted a few times.
Anyway, here she is.

Beautiful Olds!

Is that a late model Mustang under the car cover next to your Olds?

@Olds64, thank you!!! Yes it is. That is my buddies house. He has '19 Mustang GT under the cover, a '16 GT350 and a '69 Dart GT in the garage. I have an '06 Mustang and my new Baby. I can't wait to get her registered and on the road.

Nice looking fourfortytwo! I like the black n gold very smart looking.

i had those firehawk tires, i dont think they make them like that anymore. I reccmend checking the date code mine were ~13yrs old (recomended tire life 6-10yrs). I changed them out for cooper cobras which have a similar solid white letter.

Thank you!!
Ok, I will look into that. I didn't know about the tires. He said something about losing tire pressure due to the valves being made in China. Lol. I don't know if that is true or not. Just something else to look in to.

Thank you!!

Very nice! Glad you made the leap...I'm sure you'll be happy with it. We'll have to get together at Rose Hill after you get her registered.

Thank you Keith!!! This is a great forum. I have received help already. Once I get into this car I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions. I bought it and left it at my buddies house until it gets registered, which may take a few weeks in NY. LOL. I can't wait to get her home and start playing. Then the real questions will start.
