my first post

I bought a 67 442 2dr hdtp. original 400 and 4 speed are gone. now has 65 425 with turbo 400. I want to put a 4 speed back in the car. I'm told that the crank isn't machined for a pilot bearing. I can get that done. what do I use for a flywheel? thanks, Rockit

Welcome to our site. I'm not sure what type of flywheel you would need for a manual in a 442. I'm sure someone else will chime in soon. Post pics if you've got them.

Welcome to the site, post some pics of your ride when you get a chance. A fly wheel off a 330 or a 400 will also work.

You need a stick flywheel from a '64 to '67 330 early 400 (64 to 67) or 425 Olds.
You have to look at the crank of your engine, it may have it drilled already.
The bolt pattern is diff than the later Olds engine's.
