THanks guys.
Ive had this car for about 2 years.
So far Ive changed the rims, replaced the carpet, had the air ride put in, painted it myself, rechromed just about all the trim, custom made the panels for my trunk. had to hunt down and replace a few lil odds and end, like lenses and stuff. Everything Ive done on my own, except the air ride.

Next, I plan on gettin some pinstriping, and some more chrome work over the winter. Then I wanna redo the trunk in fiberglass.

Ive got a few other rides that i have to work on in the mean time also, so gotta choose wisely how i spread the dough around.

This was the StreetLow Magazine Chicago Super Show last Sunday at Soldier Field.

It was a whole different environment, lots of models and nice lookin spectators, gettin into the groove and posing on cars and stuff. They like the attention
Cant wait til next years show.

Can you post up photos of your interior and the bag setup? Any details on the bag setup? Did you do anything with the brakes?

Really liking your car!

with the bags, Ive got Chassis Tech two 5 gallon tanks, two heavy duty compressors. Slim bags cause of the car and 10 switches.

I dont know if I have anymore pics of the setup, cause I lost a whole hard drive of pics. But, here is a pic before I painted the tank and made the panels.

Ive gotta take some pics of the interior too.

OK, as I said before I havent really got to work under the hood.
But i GOTTA SOLVE SOME ISSUES SOONER THAN LATER.
i got the upgraded alternator for my ride, and its still only 100amps.

Problem is that I keep killin the battery with my airride. I wanna know if there is a more heavy duty alternator thats available for my car?
Or if thats will even solve my problem?
Is there a voltage regulator that I also have to upgarde in order to keep up with the air ride.

Any help is much appreciated.

I installed a GM CS-130 alternator in my '63 F85 last weekend. It is internally regulated. It eliminates the warning light relay on the passenger fender well and the external voltage regulator. They are a bolt in replacement for the stock alternator. The wiring changes are dead simple and I can walk you through that part.

A few questions so I can help you out.

1. Are you running your compressor ever when the engine is off?
2. How much current(amps) does your compressor draw when it is running?
3. How is your compressor connected to your car's electrical system? A relay?
4. Do you have other modifications to the car that use a lot of power - stereo system?

THank you

1. no
2. do not know
3. dont know yet, gonna get into it tomorrow, and see if I can figure out what type of ampage the compressors are pullin.
4. nothing other than the necessities. lights, horn, etc.

I just bought a 64 Dynamic 88 Convertible today.
Car is complete and as solid as they come, but does need lots of work, Im thinkin of doin a complete frame off on this one.
Just gotta arange a way to pick it up and get it home. Any suggestions on where there is a good place online or catalog wise to find parts?
Cant wait to get to work on her, only thing is I have a couple other projects to complete first.

Holy chit, today was rough as hell.
I finally picked up the 64 and towed her home. Nothing but a complete mess.

From the jump we were having a hard time loading her onto the dolley, with the front supsension in pieces. But once we got her up there I was rollin smooth.
Drove about 40 mailes on the express way, and though I was home smooth. about 10 mins from home, the damn drivers side rear wheel snapped off, and darn near took out a lil compact import behind me.

I scraped me way to the shoulder and parked it, Walked about a quarter mile back to get my wheel, all jacked up.
Went back to the truck to inspect what just happened, all my lugs were stripped and snapped off. Tire must not have been tightened properly.
the whell clipped my quarter panel too and damaged it a bit.
I called the guy I bought it from and told him, he was genuinely sorry and fealt bad but overall didnt really care.

After callin a few places i knew I was finally able to get a flat bed out to tow me home, but that wasnt the end of it!!
When he arrived we trouble shot the situation, and I started to pull away with the dolley, so he could get at the car.
He was guiding me since the car was sittin so low.
Well, the front bumper grabbed the dolley and twisted up.
Now I gotta get a new front bumper too....

Finally got her home now at least, and noone was hurt. got her on jack stands in the drive way.
should be able to get to her wed, or thur. and replace the studs, and get her into her place til I can eventually get to work on her.```

Yup one of those days, funny thing is I was worried that the old dolley I was using would let me down, last thing I was expecting was to lose a wheel on the Olds. BUt ol well, all well thats ends well.

Also, with the work I wanna put into this ride, A new bumper, and extra quarter panel work, wont seem all that horrible. Kinda like a drop in the bucket.
