There is a shop in Thornhill, Tn. that does restos or repairs. It is called Plymouth Rock Restorations. Here is his website info: http://www.plymouthrockrestorations.com/

Hey hoss. Are you in a financial situation that you can afford to go to ATI over in Va Beach? Google Automotive Technical Institute. They'll teach you how to work on stuff.

Surely in a town the size of Norfolk you can find somebody knows about cars and might be willing to teach you.

If it is like most GM cars, you take the bottom out first then the back. The bottom comes out by pushing the front of the seat towards the back of the car and lifting up. The back part should have two bolts at the bottom holding them in. Once they are unbolted, just lift up and it should release.

Ok I will help...............get a cordless drill,Drill out the lock in the trunk.......Go to Auto Zone or locall parts store they can get you a replacment lock with 2 keys for $9.99 last time I got one(been a few years but still will be cheaper than a locksmith) or order you one ,You dont need to go to a Olds restore place to get the lockset that were installed in millions of GM cars......If you lucky enough to find a set of keys in a pre 77 GM in a junk yard the trunk set up was the same as I rememberThe only thing that holds that key tumbler in the car is a slide clip..................Jerr
