The Land That Detroit Forgot
Hey!The name is Brian,I'm from rural upstate NY.I've been into Oldsmobiles since I was 13 (wow,35 years!);my second favorites are AMC's,followed closely by Pontiac's (even my favorite Mopars where Plymouths!);as you can see,the new car world and I have very different viewpoints.I have 4 project vehicles (bad planning):1950 98 2dr club sedan(fastback),53 S88 conv't,54 S88 2dr post, and 57 88 Holiday coupe (believe it or not the first car I ever owned!);all in various states of disrepair.I have been an amateur automotive historian since my teens, and would be happy to share any info I can provide, especially with the "newbies".Feel free to touch base.

Welcome
good to have you on the site. An AMC fan eh. I was not a big fan except when my uncle bought a brand new 1969 AMC Rebel called The Machine. It was white with red white and blue stripes , black interior 2 door with buckets and 4 speed hurst shifter , 390. pretty cool car

Thanks for the warm welcome-I look forward to talking to you all as time goes by-I will try to get some in progress photos up as I go along-not to mention some neat Olds stories-I was at the 1976 Olds Club Nationals and haven't made it since-regretably this won't be my year either.Hope everyone enjoys and post lots of photos!
