Just wanted to say hi
My name is Bruce Bisping and although I've been an Oldsmobile owner and lover for the past 40 years, though I just joined ClassicOlds.com.
My father owned Bisping Oldsmobile, Cadillac and GMC in Columbia Missouri from 1964 to the mid 80's, when he sold the company and retired. I didn't go into business with him and went into Journalism instead (a respected career back then), moving to Minneapols, MN to work for the Minneapolis Star Tribune for 39 years before retiring several years ago.
I've never lost the love of Oldsmobile's and I still remember when the Cutlass, 442's and Hurst Olds rolled off the truck onto the lot. I worked at the dealership all through junior high, high school and partly during college at the University of Missouri.
I still own a 72 W-30 hardtop, 72 W-30 convertible, a 66 442 hardtop and 97 Aurora Pacecar. None of the cars are from my dad's dealership.
If any of you know of any cars from Bisping Olds I'd love a shout out. It would be fun just to see if there are any left.

Welcome to the group... Sounds like a nice collection of vehicles to represent the Oldsmobile history...

Welcome Bruce.
You bought a group of NOS parts from me when I lived on Arden Avenue in Edina.
I'm happy to see you are still interested in our hobby.
I still have my Vista Cruiser, although its not quite as cool as your former Hurst wagon.
