You sure the color is 43? Maybe you meant 34?
And the VIN is 34487? That's a two-door "Holiday" hardtop.
And do you mean "trim code" or "time code?" Because the codes don't match the date build, if I am correct. I'm sure someone will chime in to correct me if I'm wrong.

Black top. Stripes are not specified but there is a default color choice, which I'd have to look up. Otherwise, you have license to make the stripes black, white, or gold as they all match the trim combo, unless someone had a morbid sense of humor and ordered red stripes.

The letter after the paint code is for the vinyl roof or convertible top color.
B is for Black.
C08 is the option code for the Vinyl top.
Some plants indicated this option on the data tag and some did not.

All W-30s are from Lansing, but not all Lansing cars are W-30s.
A hardtop is a hardtop regardless whether it has vinyl or not. I don't think it'll hurt the value if you left it off, but generally speaking factory stock fulfills a car's potential value.

Tim, I just read your other thread and was going to welcome you in that one but thought to myself, maybe I already did so. I checked this thread and see that I haven't, so welcome to CO. Personally, I like the look of the 70, 71, and 72 body styles like yours without the vinyl top on them but it is a hard job removing all the glue and junk and then of course you probably have some body repair work to do before prep and paint. On the upside, you won't have to worry about rusting under the vinyl any longer.
