Hey Eric - nice find!! Good luck finding parts for it
If you're into diecast, there is a company that just started offering a 72 442. They also sell a Rallye and about 20 different 70 - 72 Olds. I own the 71 SX and the detail in incredible. Yes, they're a little pricey but they look great on a shelf in the garage. I bought a clear display case for mine to keep the dust off. Also, there are places that will take them apart and repaint to your specifications...or you could do it yourself. Here is the link if you want to give Santa a heads up: http://www.exactdetail.com/replicas.htm?series=3.
Send me a pm and let me know how the 72 is working out for you and the MS.! Happy Holidays!!

I don't know why (and neither does my wife) but when I'm in Walmart or Zellers I have to check out the Hot Wheels, Matchbox and any other toy car makers. I always buy any Oldsmobile I find. The last one was the 1/64 scale 1953 Oldsmobile in both the transparent and the standard versions. I have a ton of little Oldsmobiles already.
Thanks for the link but it says they are sold out of the one I would want.
I will have to contact them to see if they will make another run.

I haven't seen that color combo until now,I'll have to look for it,
in addition to the brown one that BigJerr mentioned is a white one.
Then there are these without the wild & crazy 1970's car craft paint jobs.

Cutlass Gal, this one looks close!

I did a search of 442 and 401 items came up, then tried Olds* and got 960 items.

I found a couple of them sittin' around.
The white one is a little worn and it looks like house paint, cop with OAI is pretty cool.
I'm not real familiar with newer models.
Is the orange thing a buttless Cutlass?

I definitely think the detail of those is worth the $100.
Till today!!!!! My lady and I were wrapping the last of the gifts and she hands me a ten pack of hotwheels to wrap.... First thing I see sticking out like a sore thumb!!!!!!

Yeah, that would have been a 1970. Sadly I did the same thing. The police car and fire chief versions of the 70 442 are worth a few bucks to collectors.

The 442 was labeled "hot rod holiday collectables" and cost $.97. A screamin deal
