Introductions

Hi all, obviously I'm new here or else I wouldn't be in this section.
My car is a 1969 cutlass S. It started out life as a 350/350 car and somewhere along the way someone put a 455/th400 in it.
But come to find out the engine and tranny come out of a full sized car, an 88 I assume, because it has a long tail shaft on the tranny which cutlasses never had only full size cars. I learned this the hard way.
Anyway I've had this car since 2020 and already got the tranny rebuilt and strengthened to handle 500 or more ponies, new heavy duty driveline, willwood calipers in the front and a brand new moser rearend with 3.73 gears and a trutrac.
looking forward to getting out on the strip for drag night later this year.

Welcome aboard! What we can see of your Cutlass looks great. Hope to see more of it in the future, maybe with some trophies!

Very cool and welcome to Classic Oldsmobile. You can't ever go wrong with a 455 Olds motor. Feel free to share as many pictures as you want. 👍

As you can see somewhere along the line they added a 442 bumper.

They say bigblocks all over heat, Ha! Mine never gives me any trouble, I just over heat being behind it.
