i did it!

It took me long enough, did it by myself. Tore out wiring under hood ie; wiring associated with regulator and such as she's been converted to hei system. Replaced all primary wires. Had someone come check my work. Allwas good except I didnt have the wire on the alt. to charge. Did that, adjusted the carb and shockingly she runs. Havent been able to post pics as I am using my cellphone.

Good job! Detailing under the hood can do quite a bit for the appearance of a vehicle. I've always hated vacuum lines and wires running "this way and that" under the hood. I try to keep it to a minimum on my 71 98.

Great! Don't let anyone (especially "professionals") tell you you can't do anything.

With determination, some book-readin', and maybe some advice from a friend, you can do all of this stuff, even if you're ambidextrous.

I rebuilt the engine in my kitchen 13 or so years ago. Got oil leak. I figure I'll start with valve covers and work my way down
