Smile Hi Folks, been a member for a while but first post.

Been cruisin' around the forums since I joined in October of 2012, same time that I purchased my car, a 1971 olds cutlass supreme. The car brings me back to my childhood, my Dad had a '72 cutlass supreme but his had the 455, mine has a 350 which works good, I just went for the '71 cause it's my birth year. Car's are basically identical other than a few minor changes from '71 to '72. That was the car I learned to drive in so it was the obvious choice when I felt the need to own a classic car. Funny the little things you remember, always remembered that walnut **** shifter on the console, thought it was so cool and that's what's in my car, it was a must for sure. Also remember the rides in it as a passenger in the back, and when Dad punched it, you would sink into the seat, that car was a beast, he bought it brand new and took good care of it.
This was my first summer with mine and it ran great, I got out in it quite a bit and had a blast, my kids and my wife really seem to love it as well which is a bonus for sure. Lookin' forward to the snow being gone and getting it out of storage and doing a bit of work to it, which is where I hopefully can call on you guy's for some help.
Anyway's that's my story, or at least part of it.
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Oh ya, been on here a while like I said, the pics are in the album I created in my profile, figure someone might inquire. Haha!

Hey, thanks for the welcoming guy's, very kind.
Yes tru-blue, short for Trevor. Took a while for that first post, had to work up some courage!
I hear you Sammy, truth be told, I wouldn't want mine trying to fix it!
