Hi everyone, 67 Cutlass here

I found me a 67 Cutlass and just had to bring it home. Needs TLC is a generous statement. Has solid floor if you dont look at the trunk. Body rust is limited to the back of the front fenders, but my 67 Delmont suffered from that back in the late 80s. Oh, I need to fix the window channels for the winshield and the back window.
So far I have changed all the locks, so as long as they dont crawl through the winshield opening, no one will be able to steal the 80s under dash cassette player
I pulled the plugs and got the water out. Didn't know that's what the spark plugs did...
The engine must be one of those 45 degree ones because that is all it will turn.
(It is actually in really good shape)

Yes I have work cut out for me, but I knew all this going in.
If all goes well I will purchase a delta 98 and swap over every piece I can. Disk brakes, engine, transmission, drive line, power windows, ac, the works...

I am sure I will have questions. Thats why I'm here.

Thanks all!

My first car was a 67 Delmont 88. Loved that car. Too bad I was young and dumb.

Looking at the Quarters and the floor, you are alot farther ahead of what some of us started with! Lots of 67 help on here.

Great choice and welcome! I love my 67 Cutlass - simple and extremely enjoyable to own and drive.

What I like about this one is that it dosen't look like every other cutlass I see (and it is the same blue as my first car, may have something to do with it).

I do have some rust to repair, and some previous repairs that need to be fixed but you get what you get.

I would have liked to start the removal on my own terms...

Should there be drain holes back here some place?

Trunk is just thin enough it needs attention.

Thank you for the FYI. I like to say I have a plasma cutter and a welder, anything can be made to fit, but in this instance, that may not be the best approach.

"Should there be drain holes back here some place?" Fisher Body did not include drain holes at the rear window location. I have seen drain holes added there with hoses leading down and out by the factory drains at the rear of the rear wheel wells. Problem is they will become clogged with sediment over time and become useless.
