Hey From Rhodel Island/ Looking for parts!

Hey Guys,

I've been a long time Pontiac guru, and I knew it would only be a matter of time before I entered the rest of the BOP world. I just purchased a 63 F85. What a cool little car with that aluminum 215 and slim jim tranny. It's all original and runs great but there's a couple of things I'm looking for. I'm looking for a rear bumper and a passenger side tail light. There seems to be zero aftermarket for these things also. I'm trying to find a source for a rug and headliner. Any help would be appreciated Thanks! Bill in lil rhody

hi bill, welcome! this is a great place to make connections as far as finding parts and getting good advice goes.. my first and second cars were olds(78 delta royale) and pontiac(77 grand prix lj) in 1989 and i still have a few olds and pontiac cars to this day!(i live in ri too)i don't know anyone firsthand with what you are looking for, but help seems to come out of the woodwork here, so i'm sure you will eventually find at least some of the stuff that you are searching for.. sometimes i get lucky with ebay finding parts also. sometimes you do ok, sometimes you pay out the ***, but in the end i base what i'll spend on availability and how bad do i really need what im looking for. good luck with your new olds! dave in warwick ri

Hi Bill, Welcome aboard.
Nice car you picked to join the fold with. One of our members (Eric Jensen - jensenracing77) may be able to direct you on this. He recently bought a 62 Jetfire in primo condition. IIRC he also may know a source for some parts for them. BTW he's also well known on this site as a parts 'go to' guy. He's in Brazil Indiana. Here's a link to his PM if you two want to start a discussion. https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...member&u=14140

Love to see some pics of your new ride!
