Hey everyone

Hey I'm nyxie, doing my first restore by myself without my grandpa's help. She's a 1989 Oldsmobile regency brougham 98. Just gonna be snooping and asking some questions.

Welcome to the group... I'm sure answers to your questions are readily available here at the world of Oldsmobile... Any photos or history available for your 98???

Looks like you got yourself a very interesting and exciting project. Hopefully, we can steer you in the right direction no matter what you choose, or don't choose, to do!

Welcome! We look forward to seeing pics.

Unless it's been modded, it has the LN3 3.8l v6. The 3.8l will go for 200,000+ miles if maintained properly.

Unlike most modern V6 engines, you can scrap the timing gears and jump teeth on a 3.8 and it'll still get you home. Great little engines.
