Howdy All

Name is Mike, on my 2nd Cutlass now. The first car I ever owned was an 81, with the 260 (which luckily blew up and was repleced with a 72 350 rocket). I am now the proud owner of a 75 with 86k all original, 350, and runs like it rolled off the assembly line. Ive got some restoration questions that I will post in the appropriate forums, but just wanted to introduce myself and "my old lady" as I call her. Just got her out of the body shop and got all the rust and dents fixed. Enjoy!

Welcome aboard! That looks like a nice project car that won't be too involved of a resto, should you choose to take it further. Good Luck!

Welcome aboard, and congrats on your new to you Cutlass. That's a nice solid ride with a dead-nuts reliable drive-train. Timing chain replacement is your only real major concern and if its already done your set. Steady maintenance, responsible driving, and you're good to go. My 69 has the same combo, we even share the same cam. Looks like your Cutlass is still single exhaust ? If so its rare to find cars like ours that original.

Best of luck with her !

Welcome, that's an accomplishment "blowing up" a 260. Those engines usually ran for ever or till someone made a boat anchor out of them.
